We quote weddings, corporate events, private dinners and drop-off orders anywhere in Medellín and the Aburrá Valley, as well as fincas farther out in Antioquia. Having planned events since 2019, up to a corporate year-end party for 900 guests, we can work from a rough brief and fill in the gaps with you.
Plan your event
To quote an event accurately we need three things: the type of event, the number of guests and the service style. Menus, staffing, rentals and travel all follow from those answers, which is why the form asks for them first.
Tell us whether it is a wedding, a company event, a birthday, a holiday dinner or something else, along with the date and the venue or neighborhood. The venue matters as much as the occasion, because a salón social in an El Poblado tower, a finca in Llanogrande and an office in Laureles each need different equipment and travel planning.
An estimate is fine, for example "70 to 90 adults plus 10 children". Staffed events start at 15 guests, private chef dinners at 2, and the count shapes the menu quantities, the number of chafing dishes and the team we send.

Sending the form commits you to nothing; it opens a conversation with one coordinator who stays with you until the event is over. This is the usual sequence.
The quote arrives by email with the menu, staff hours, tableware, rentals and tax each on their own line. Requests sent on Sunday, when the office is closed, are answered on Monday.
For staffed events we suggest a short video call in English or Spanish to go through the menu, timing and venue. Portions, staffing and rentals are usually settled in that one conversation.
Weddings and events over 80 guests can book a tasting for 2 at our kitchen. You try the proposed dishes, adjust seasoning and portions with our head chef, and settle the final menu.
Your date is reserved once we receive a deposit, with the balance due 7 days before the event. If plans change more than 60 days out, the deposit moves to a new date within 12 months; inside 30 days it is not refundable.

Our office is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday, although events still run on Sundays. Hours are Colombia time, which is UTC-5 all year with no daylight saving: the same as New York in winter and Chicago in summer, and 5 to 7 hours behind most of Europe.
If you write in the evening from another time zone, expect the reply the next working morning in Medellín. Mark your email with the event date in the subject line and it reaches the right coordinator faster.
You can plan an entire event in Medellín without flying in first. Planning runs on video calls in English, quotes and menus arrive by email in English, and you can pay by bank transfer or through a card payment link from abroad.
Destination-wedding couples usually book their tasting for the trip they take to visit venues, so they try the menu and see the finca in the same week. For a Saturday or an October to December date, start talking to us 6 to 12 months ahead; other dates need 3 to 4 months.
Bring nothing in your luggage for the catering. Plates, glassware, chafing dishes and rentals all come from us and our partner suppliers, and any spirits you bring must carry the Antioquia department tax stamp, which bottles from a duty-free shop abroad usually lack.
