Neighborhoods and Veredas We Serve
Envigado mixes an urban core with rural veredas on the eastern mountainside, and access changes quickly as you climb. These are the areas we serve most.
- Parque Principal and the center. Older houses and small salons around the main park and the Calle de la Buena Mesa dining area. Expect narrow streets and short loading stops.
- Las Vegas. The commercial and residential corridor between the Envigado Metro station and the border with El Poblado, with flat, fast access along Avenida Las Vegas.

Weddings and Events at Hillside Fincas
Envigado's upper slopes hold some of the most popular finca venues in the valley, and our wedding catering team works there most Saturdays from October to December. The appeal is obvious: lawns, gardens and a wide view over Medellín, less than an hour from the city.
The logistics are what take experience. The Loma del Escobero and Las Palmas roads are steep and curving, so we load the van by weight, secure every Cambro carrier, and add 20 to 30 minutes to the drive on wet afternoons.
Up high, the air is noticeably cooler than in the valley, and evenings can turn misty and chilly after sunset. We plan menus for that, with hot soups such as ajiaco or crema de ahuyama, warm desserts and a hot chocolate or aguapanela station, and we bring windbreaks for the buffet and covers for the chafing dishes.
Many fincas have generators but small kitchens, so we arrive with food finished in our kitchen and use the finca's space only for plating and holding. If the finca allows it, we can also set our barrel smoker on the lawn for an asado al barril of pork ribs, chorizo and potatoes.
A 120-guest finca wedding with a plated dinner needs 10 to 12 servers and 2 bartenders, and the crew arrives 2 to 3 hours before service. For daytime parties on the lawn, our outdoor event catering and garden party catering cover tents, shade and food held safely in the sun.
Gated Complexes (Unidades Cerradas)
Most of Zúñiga, El Esmeraldal and Loma del Escobero is made up of unidades cerradas, gated complexes with a gatehouse, a social room and shared green areas. Events there run smoothly when four steps are handled in order.

Reserve Staff Parking
Visitor parking in Envigado complexes is often limited to a few spaces. Ask for one space for our van close to the social room, ideally near a ramp rather than stairs.
Confirm Cleanup Rules
Some complexes require the room swept and trash sorted before handover. Our team does full cleanup as standard, and we take our own waste and used cooking oil back with us.
Local Permits and Health Authority
Envigado has its own municipal health secretariat, and its own Alcaldía sets event rules, so do not assume a Medellín permit or rule carries over. Requirements change, and we verify the current ones for each event rather than relying on last year's answer.
For private events in a home, finca or social room, no special catering permit is usually needed. Our kitchen and staff work under Resolution 2674 of 2013, every cook and server carries a current food-handler certificate, and we hand copies to any administración or venue that asks.
Public spaces are different. An event in a park, on a closed street or for a large open audience needs authorization from the Alcaldía de Envigado, and noise is governed by Ley 1801 of 2019 plus local rules. The Fiestas del Carriel, Envigado's main festival held around the Parque Principal in July, also bring street closures, so we check the program before scheduling a downtown delivery that month.

Can your vans reach fincas on Loma del Escobero?
Yes, our refrigerated van reaches most fincas on Loma del Escobero on the paved road. For properties with an unpaved or very steep final stretch, we park at the gate or a wider point and shuttle food and equipment up in a smaller 4x4 or the finca's own vehicle. We check the access with you, ideally with photos or a site visit, before the quote is final.
Is Envigado within your standard delivery zone?
Yes, Envigado is part of our standard zone for both drop-off orders and staffed events. Drop-off orders need 48 hours' notice and staffed events 2 weeks. Fincas high on the Alto de Las Palmas may take longer than the usual 30 to 45 minutes, which we plan into the arrival time.
