Medellin Elite Catering caters game days in Medellín: pre-match parties before Atlético Nacional and DIM play at the Estadio Atanasio Girardot, and NFL watch parties for expats who never miss a Sunday. We bring wings, burgers and Colombian street food to your home, rooftop or building social area.
American-style tailgating in stadium parking lots is not part of Medellín's football culture, so our version happens where fans meet before heading out: apartments in Laureles and Estadio, terraces in El Poblado and salones sociales with a big screen. For NFL fans, the party is the game itself, from kickoff to the final whistle.
We have catered in Medellín since 2019, and game days are the events with a fixed deadline. Kickoff does not wait, so our deliveries are timed to arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the match starts.

Our Tailgate and Game-Day Catering
Our game-day catering delivers or serves party food for football matches and watch parties, timed to the kickoff. You choose drop-off trays that arrive hot and ready, or a staffed setup with a server, a grill cook and a bartender.
Drop-off packages suit groups of 8 to 40 watching on a living-room screen. Staffed game days start at 15 guests and suit bigger watch parties in a salón social or on a rooftop, where the food keeps coming through extra time and penalties.
Salones sociales in residential towers need a reservation and administration approval under Ley 675 of 2001, and many set a closing hour. Book the room before you book us, especially for the clásico paisa.
Pre-Match Gatherings for Local Football
For local football, we cater the gathering before fans leave for the stadium: a proper meal at home two or three hours before kickoff at the Estadio Atanasio Girardot. That leaves time to eat, then walk or take the Metro to Estadio station without rushing.
Atlético Nacional and Deportivo Independiente Medellín (DIM) share the stadium, so the city hosts a home league match on many weekends of the season, and the clásico paisa between the two is the biggest day of the calendar. Fans in green or red want food that carries them through 90 minutes of singing: chorizo with arepa, empanadas, chicharrón and bandeja-style platters.
Homes and apartments in Laureles, a short walk from the stadium, make a natural base, and our page on catering in Laureles covers delivery there, usually 15 to 30 minutes from our kitchen. Authorities sometimes restrict alcohol sales and gatherings around the stadium on match days, so we deliver only to private addresses, and you should check any current decree before planning drinks.
NFL and Super Bowl Watch Parties
For expats and American visitors, we cater NFL Sundays and Super Bowl parties with a full American game-day menu: wings, sliders, nachos, chili and dips. Everything is timed to kickoff and kept hot through four quarters.
Colombia stays on UTC-5 all year, which makes kickoff times easy to misread. From September to early November, a 1:00 p.m. Eastern game starts at noon in Medellín, and once US clocks fall back, kickoffs match Eastern time, so a Super Bowl that starts around 6:30 p.m. Eastern also starts around 6:30 p.m. here.
Our office is closed on Sundays, but events and deliveries still run, so place NFL Sunday orders by Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Super Bowl Sunday orders fill early, so we suggest booking at least 2 weeks ahead, and our wing catering page lists every sauce we make.
Game-Day Menus
A game-day menu needs food you can eat with one hand while watching: wings, sliders, nachos, chorizo, empanadas and salchipapas. We plan about 6 to 8 wings or 3 sliders per guest, plus two or three sides.

For halftime, a dessert round of brownies, mini cheesecakes or buñuelos keeps the energy up. Bigger watch parties can add a live frying station from our empanada catering menu, cooked on a terrace or balcony. Beer, micheladas and cocktails come as an open bar or a bar by consumption, poured by our bartender.
Wings are baked first and finished on the grill, so they arrive crisp rather than steamed, and sauces travel separately to be tossed just before serving. Vegetarian guests get grilled halloumi skewers, bean nachos and cheese empanadas made in a separate batch.

Can you deliver right before kick-off?
Yes, we schedule game-day deliveries to arrive 45 to 60 minutes before kickoff, which leaves time to lay out the trays without missing the anthem. Hot food travels in insulated carriers above 60 °C, and on match days near the stadium we leave earlier to allow for road closures and traffic.
Do you offer a Super Bowl package?
Yes, our Super Bowl package covers wings in two sauces, sliders, loaded nachos, chili, a vegetable tray with dips and brownies, delivered or staffed. On a drop-off order you can still add staff, a bar or a live grill.
